BoomBit Group’s financial results for H1 2025

BoomBit, an international mobile game producer and publisher, has summarized its results and achievements for H1 2025:

  • $25.1M in sales revenue
  • $2.6M in adjusted consolidated EBITDA and $0.02M adjusted consolidated net result

The first half of 2025 proved challenging for many companies operating in the mobile gaming market, mainly due to the highly competitive environment and the strong appreciation of the Polish złoty (PLN). In such conditions, key factors included portfolio optimization and the ability to adapt, leading to the pursuit of new revenue sources and the development of the most promising projects. We have taken steps to further diversify our revenue streams and believe that many of these initiatives should deliver tangible results in the future,” commented Marcin Olejarz, CEO of BoomBit S.A. “e are working intensively on titles scheduled to launch in the second half of the year. Among the most important and advanced productions set to debut at the beginning of Q4 2025 are Hunter’s Origin and Big Helmets: Heroes of Destiny. Another promising title is MyBots – a game inspired by the mechanics of Hunt Royale, with a soft launch planned for the end of 2025. We’ve also engaged in developing mobile applications, as we are observing their growing popularity compared to traditional mobile games. The most significant of these is Short Reels – True Life Drama, a platform offering short drama series episodes, set to launch at the beginning of Q4 2025

In H1 2025, total revenue from mobile games amounted to $25.1M, representing a 10% decrease compared to the same period last year. One of the major negative factors impacting the Group’s revenue was the strong appreciation of the PLN. Revenue from Mid-Core and Casual games, accounting for 60% of total revenue, was 1% lower year-on-year, totaling $15M. The most profitable title in this segment was Darts Club ($5.44M), for which the first half of this year was the best period in its history. Other titles in the Top 5 included Hunt Royale ($3.92M), Dawn of Ages ($0.96M), Car Driving Simulator ($0.87M), and Idle Farm ($0.67M).

Revenue from Hyper-Casual games, making up about 40% of total revenue, reached $10M a 17% decrease compared to the same period last year. The lower revenue from this segment resulted from a decline in profitability in the mobile advertising market. Among the top-performing titles in H1 2025 were Downhill Race League ($1.29M), Crazy Plane Landing ($1.14M), Boss Fight ($0.67M), and Walk King – Race on Stairs ($0.66M).

The Group’s EBITDA, adjusted for one-off events in H1 2025, amounted to $2.6M, compared to $3.3M in the same period of the previous year. The adjusted net profit reached $0.02M, compared to $0.98 in H1 2024.

This year, the Applifters brand was launched. Under this brand, the BoomBit Group now offers services previously used solely for internal purposes. These include proprietary BI tools, interactive playable ads, cross-promotion, and marketing campaign management. So far, the Group has completed several dozen playable ad orders and acquired several clients for its customized BI tool. By the end of 2025, BoomBit plans to launch both the playable ads and BI tools on the market in a SaaS model.
